Marcin Świątkiewicz – harpsichordist and composer from the young generation, graduate of the Katowice Academy of Music where in 2014 he defended his doctorate. He presently works at the Academy as a lecturer. He also studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 2016, he became a laureate of Polityka's Passport. He collaborates with international ensembles of early music: Brecon Baroque, Arte dei Suonatori, {oh!} Historical Orchestra, Bassociation and Scroll Ensemble, with whom he performs and records. He plays on various types of harpsichords and clavichords, as well as on antique pianos and organs, and deals with improvisation, which he teaches using the early partimento method.
