The concert
Webb's horizons will bring together four exceptional musical personalities – Zuzanna Całka (keyboards, electronics), Jakub Stefek (organ), Katarzyna Stasiewicz (cello), and Dariusz Przybylski (composer, organist) – in a joint search for new sounds and perspectives.
The central highlight of the evening will be the premiere of Dariusz Przybylski’s latest work Zwierciadła Webba, written for cello, organ, and electronics, inspired by cosmic discoveries and the vision of the musical future. References to the images captured by the James Webb Space Telescope will serve as a starting point for reflection on the place of humankind and art within the vastness of the universe.
The program will also include original music by Zuzanna Całka from the album Late Night Takes, where tradition meets experimentation, and classical music intertwines with electronics and trance-like energy. The concert will become a metaphorical telescope revealing new horizons of music.
I see my art as a spiritual practice, a ritual that helps me reconnect with the beauty and mystery of life. Improvisation plays a central role in this process, making every performance resonate in a different way.
