The guest of the evening will be Johannes Moser – an artist described by Gramophone Magazine as one of the finest cellists of his generation. The German-Canadian musician has for years been performing with the world’s leading orchestras, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, New York Philharmonic, and London Symphony Orchestra, captivating audiences in both classical and contemporary repertoire.
Together with the Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Przemysław Neumann, the artist will present Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104. Full of the cello’s warm sonorities and at the same time deeply dramatic, this work – in the interpretation of Moser, renowned for his technical perfection and profound musical sensitivity – is sure to enchant music lovers.
Meanwhile, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, known as the Pathétique, will take listeners on a journey through the deepest emotions – from exalted elation to the moving silence of the finale. Together, these two masterpieces create an evening where great works and great emotions meet.
